No Rice, No Life

We are EcoRice Niigata, a small rice company (we’re not even 10!) from Nagaoka, Niigata Prefecture, Japan.

We believe in environment sustainability and in producing safe and healthy food for everyone, no matter their health or beliefs.

About almost 20 years ago was the Chuetsu Earthquake, which occurred in Niigata Prefecture. We realized that people who have allergies or are dialyzed had difficulties to access safe food. To prevent this to happen again, and to help those who need it the most, we decided to produce allergen-free rations.

Because we also believe in environment sustainability, we produce rice with no pesticides and with limited amounts of pesticides to protect your health and the natural environment of our rice fields.
